Our expanding New Business Sales Team is at the heart of our business ensuring we deliver a high growth strategy building opportunities to work alongside more of the global businesses we work with on a daily basis.

We have two new opportunities for Business Development Managers to join our growing team reporting to our Head of New Business.

The main purpose of this role will be to organise and qualify meetings for the New Business Sales Executives to be able to discuss the Livingstone service proposals. Along with tracking and maintaining customer contact, building relationships you will be super organised, keeping records up to date in the Livingstone internal systems. There will be an opportunity to be involved in sales meetings to gain that all important experience in consultative selling with plenty of on the job sales training and being kept up to date with sales methodologies.

The ideal candidates will learn the foundations of sales, prospecting and delivering new business and receive continuous training including learning Livingstone’s unique methodology for booking meetings.

The role can be fully-remote and based anywhere within the UK. We also have collaboration hubs in Reading, Shoreditch and York which you can choose to work from.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for following up on marketing campaign leads
  • Researching target accounts that meets a key standard
  • Identifying key people within the accounts team through LinkedIn / other platforms
  • Emailing the prospect with the company’s sales messaging as directed by the Head of New Business
  • Responsible for booking meetings and/or virtual meetings for the Sales Team
  • Ability to have a ‘Discovery’ conversation with the client and qualify the sales opportunity
  • Ability to repeat this cycle on a continuous basis
  • Tenacity to meet sales meeting targets, enjoying the challenge of the role, and not being disheartened by rejection
  • Coaching and mentoring via the Head of New Business to support with the above.

Basic c £23,500 - OTE £44,500 with ability to overachieve, uncapped commissions. We have a forward-thinking culture and offer 'Smart Working' which means that you may have the opportunity to work remotely and/or office based several days per week, with some flexibility in agile hours and working patterns

  • Good analytical, problem solving and numerical skills and abilities
  • Ambitious, hardworking, results orientated, target driven, competitive person, who is looking to pursue a career in sales and has the desire to progress with the willingness to learn and be coached
  • Self motivation, discipline and time management with the ability to work to deadlines and excellent attention to detail
  • Have the understanding, working knowledge and ability to use the company provided IT systems, such as Email, Excel, Word, CRM
  • Understanding of business-to-business communication skills; ability to write emails using business language and terms
  • Understanding of company profiles and employee roles within the organisation (such as Procurement, Vendor Management, SAM, ITAM)
  • Drive and understanding to cultivate relationships with prospective clients
  • GCSE in Mathematics and English
