Technical Tester - Automation

Livingstone Group are appointing a tester. The successful candidate will build-out a first class automation suite to test our global technology platform in a high release cadence, agile environment. They will be required to work closely with the wider technology team to ensure that a high level of automation results in higher speed and quality of delivery. The role will also include system analysis, test plan generation and the recording of defects in the bug tracking system.

• Develop a test harness using Protractor to test our new product and add more tests as new features are being built.
• Enable frequent, high quality releases by developing repeatable automated tests.
• Work as part of a flexible, committed and busy software delivery team to test high quality solutions to an international business
• Work with the development team to ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements and target architecture and are delivered in a controlled fashion.
• Develop and maintain SpecFlow tests
• Maintenance and ownership of the test environment
• Manual testing of new functionality delivered in the sprints
• Communicate your findings to the developers in a clear and understandable way
• Present suggestions and ideas for how we can improve and ensure even better quality deliveries
